• complete the repairs according to the customer's instructions
• contact the customer to inform them that the work is complete

• provide a detailed, computer-generated, easy to read bill listing all parts and labor separately

As a result of our billing process, we have a computerized record of all the work performed at our shop on our customers' vehicles. This includes not only work done to the vehicle but also notes and observations made when the repairs are being performed. Two major benefits are:

• if we let you know when you pick up your car that the brakes are thin or that you are due for a tire rotation soon, we will have a record of that the next time you come in
• if you decide to sell your vehicle, you can request at little or no extra charge a copy of your repair record. This can be a major selling point especially if the car has had regular services and oil changes or a recent major repair
